Nyksund is entering a quiet period, ideal for those of us seeking silence, thoughtfulness and reflection. Nevertheless our Museum will offer a flexible solution opening our doors on request. In addition our neighbour Ssemjon Gerlitz at "Holmvik Brygge" will offer a guided tour on request. Regarding the consert program we are planning an event weekend 16-18th of October. There may also be arranged other concerts. Please have a check every now and then on this page. During period of the traditional Norwegian "julebord" season we will open our doors and offer entertainment, music and maybe concerts in cooperation with "Ekspedisjonen" and "Holmvik Brygge" |
Nyksund AS has worked hard to populate the summer concert program. And we think we have succeeded in combining the huge number of 25 concerts with high quality and a great variation of style and artists. We are very proud demonstrating that Nyksund never before has been able to provide such an offer. Our intension is to continue to build Nyksund’s reputation as the central place of culture in Vesterålen. Please bear in mind that in addition to concerts and culture arranged in our facilities, the music festival “Nyksund 10” is taking place August 13th to 15th. There are also other concerts scheduled. At last please also notice that a hand full of widely known artists are related to Nyksund. 
Friday 24th of July Nyksund Museum did officialy open. This was a privat arrangement. Through out July and August we willl arrange many concerts.
